Dr. Richa Bhalla
Dr. Richa Bhalla graduated as a Dentist in 1999 from Government Dental College, Mumbai, a top-ranking dental college in India, after completing her bachelor in Chemistry and Botany. She headed the Department of Dentistry in her home city’s multispecialty hospital and has managed two successful practices for 17 years. She is passionate about bringing the latest developments in technology to her patients and regularly attends various continuing education training sessions. She’s proficient in smile designing and keeps herself updated with the latest innovations in dentistry. She ensures that all her patients receive the highest quality of dental care in a comfortable and calm environment. She is certified to administer Nitrous Oxide and Sedation to ease anxious patients.
Dr Richa has been a member of the Canadian and Indian Dental Associations, Fredericton Dental Society and licenced from New Brunswick Dental Society. She’s also been a member of the Multicultural association of Carleton County and Multicultural Association of Fredericton. She loves giving back to her community and has participated in various free Oral Health Camps to serve veterans and students in India. She likes teaching, has shared her knowledge with dentists through training sessions and has taught as faculty in dental college too. She’s been a pioneer in helping people to quit smoking and tobacco use through joint efforts with the Government of India. She immigrated to Woodstock from India in 2016 with her husband, daughter, and pug, and was marvelled at the acceptance of the community. She enjoys gardening, reading, healthy cooking, playing with her dog, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
